Unlike a network firewall, it reads and understands natural language.

How does an AI firewall differ from a network firewall or WAF?

A network firewall blocks based on IP addresses, ports, and protocols. A WAF blocks based on HTTP patterns and known exploit signatures. Neither can read a sentence. An AI firewall understands the meaning of a prompt — catching attacks that look like ordinary conversation, such as “ignore your previous instructions” or multi-turn jailbreaks that unfold over several messages.
